It’s the last week of the SELECT 2017 camp and just 1 more day to go. This week our special thanks goes to the Diamond Bank, Ijebu-Ode team for exposing the kids to Financial literacy and helping them understand the banking system. Thanks to Manuela Correia from eTwinning Portugal, for the expositions on plastic waste and the danger it poses on our environment. To one of the SELECT participants Olukorede Olurinola for teaching us how to make Shamballa bracelet. A thank you to Ms Ayobami Oni for such an wonderful exposition on the SDGs and helping the kids find their place in it all. A thank you also to Marialice Curran of DigitCit Institute, USA and her son for a wonderful Skype sessions, sharing with us on digitcitkids and their solar eclipse experience. Our faithful Oriaku Isreal, enlightened the kids on communication skills. They also learnt about Animations and had experience creating some short animations. And had a team football match at the Dipo Dina stadium. Its been fun and learning all the way.
Tomorrow we would be having our first batch of graduates from the School of Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Etiquette, Creativity and Technology (SELECT) 2017.
